:( Don't know what to do!
As I posted in one of my blogs Tyler has been suspended from school if you want details you can go ahead and read it. I've been trying to reach the principle for two days know to try to figure out what was going to happen, well I finally got ahold of her ( the principle ) and she gets on the phone and tells me that my 6 year old son has been suspended for the rest of the year. I am so frustrated because she didn't call me to let me know I had to call her and now I'm at a loss. Of course Tyler is punished for his behavior because I will not tollerate violence and I understand what he did was very serious but I'm honestly wondering if they gave him his meds because I've never seen him act like that while on them, I asked and they told me they did but I just don't know and I cant say they didn't because I wasn't there so I don't know. And if they did give him his meds my next guess is that something must have really pervoked him because like I said he has never ever done that. I don't know. Another thing is I told the teacher and the principle from the beginning what his problems were and they didn't want to listen and now this is the result, what will it take for the school to listen to me and realize I know what is best for my child. I've faught them tooth and nail on things and they still do what they are going to do and I don't have a say so..... Sorry if I just went on and on I just really needed to get this out!

Sorry to hear that Tyler got suspended for the rest of the year. I hope this doesn't affect him going into the first grade next year. I would listen to the advice that moosemom gave you about that one that he is on once a day. And hopefully you won't have to deal with all of this in Tyler's next school.
If you are getting nowhere with the principal and got no where with the teachers.. than I would go to the school board or superintendant ( sp??) of the school system... You son just might need an AID to help him through the day.. and he might need an IEP to help him through school..
don't give up on him.. he's doing counseling and has meds right? Keep fighting girl.. you'll win!! I promise.. It drives me nuts when the school system IGNORES you and thinks they know what's BEST for your child!!
