The BIG 50!!!

Sunday Chastity, Cris, and I wanted to do something for my mom for her 50th birthday, we couldn't do anything big because her wedding is on the 25th. Chastity decided to hold the surprise party over her house and invited my mom over for dinner, except she didn't know we were comming over. My sister Cris her family and my family parked in the parking lot across from her so our mom wouldn't know we were there. I had Chastity lock the door so we would have time to kinda hide and so she wouldn't just walk in and see us. Chastity opened the door and her husband David looked liked he was doing something in the kitchen so things wouldn't look suspicious and as she came around the corner we yelled SURPRISE!!!!!. Boy was she not expecting it because the look on her face was priceless, I wish I had the pick to show you but I haven't gotten the film developed and I don't have a scanner unfortionately. We all sat down and ate dinner and I had to get going soon because my dh needed to get home because he was tired and wanted to get in bed early for work the next day so we decided to light alllllll the candels on the cake, let me tell you Chastity and I were getting hot just by lighting them lol.... and the candels were melting so fast from all the heat we didn't have time to wait till everyone got in there we had to blow them out asap because wax was getting all over the cake as you can see in one of the pictures. Then came the gifts, David and Chastity came up with getting a small flower pot and sticking 50 dum dum suckers in it and it had a sign that said 50 sucks, then Cris got mom a t-shirt that said something about hot flashes and something else I can't quite remember but it was funny, Jay w/ David's help made a CD for my mom to show her how old she is lol, the CD had a whole bunch of commercial's on it from the 50's including the famous california raisins, the best gift of all I think came from my niece Destiny, she made my mom a card and put a dollar in it lol it was so cute, and me I just made her a cake. It was a wonderful day let me tell you we had a blast. But as I was saying today is her actual birthday so I just want to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM I LOVE YOU!!!
